Congratulations on your session.

Now is a time for reflection

I am overjoyed and excited for your transformation and all the wonderful healing that will continue to occur over the 21 - 60 days after your hypnotherapy session and beyond.  You did the lifting, you have released and now is to time to embrace a new reality where you are now free from your past.  You are free to accomplish whatever you set out to. It is time to step into your power.  

Here is a little guidance for the coming days and weeks….

 
 
 

APPROACHING YOUR NEW FREEDOM

That said, it is normal for people to respond differently to an RTT hypnotherapy session. Some notice instant change, some notice change over time, some notice change in hindsight and some people experience all three. Your mind has had years of reinforcing old beliefs and it can take some time with the regular reinforcement of your recording for the new beliefs and thoughts to become very familiar, which is why it is so very important to keep listening to your recording every day for at least 21 days.

OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS 

After the release of emotion involved in RTT and hypnotherapy, some people may feel nausea, experience flu-type symptoms, excessive urination, some diarrhea, feel weepy or otherwise emotional and tired.  It is also normal to feel some anger about the past. This is all just the body clearing out the old emotions. It is very powerful and completely normal. When we ‘unpack’ substantial emotional baggage during an RTT session sometimes other memories come up over the coming hours and days. The subconscious goes through its ‘filing’ system of stored memories and beliefs. You might find yourself no longer be able to tolerate ‘bad’ or negative behavior toward you in the same way you have in the past (your threshold for this will shift dramatically), honor this as part of your healing and your new normal. 

THE INTERNAL SHIFT 

Keep on being kind to yourself, because you absolutely deserve this. You are now the best friend you ever had or the parent that you wished you had. You may feeling lighter, experience inexplicable feelings of joy, happiness, contentment, like something has ‘gone, shifted or changed’.  That is your mind doing what it is supposed to do.  Clarity in your purpose or direction, or when people are negative you don’t react…you may feel happy to be alive and grateful for each moment.  If this is new and unfamiliar then relax into it and welcome it. It will come from the inside out and will feel natural and effortless.

 

 HERE ARE SOME POINTERS FOR THE NEXT 21 DAYS:

  • Listen to your personalized transformational recording for the next 21 days uninterrupted. I suggest playing it either when you wake up or before you go to sleep.  Establishing a routine is important so that you will remember.  Also play it during times of challenge or when facing the old “issue” to remind yourself that you are placing it in the past.

  • I will be checking in on you via text and email over the next 21 day period.

  • If you have not already scheduled your follow up call please do so here. We will review your progress which is an important part of your freedom journey. We can then determine how often to keep listening to your recording or any future steps. Some people benefit from a new recording, or a hypnosis for another area (not necessarily another RTT session).

AND AFTER THAT… KEEP LISTENING

  • Keep listening to your recording for maximum results, ideally for up to two months. If you are anticipating a time or event which could trigger your old thoughts, emotions and behaviors then listen to the recording in advance. Keep it safe, email it to yourself and store it in a couple of places so you don’t lose it. It is yours forever.




Some Tips to Amplify your Results


  • Journal daily in order to unearth and process new or persisting thought patterns.  This will be useful in identifying milestones in your recovery and for providing informed feedback to Michelle.

  • Start a daily gratitude practice as part of your journaling.  Write down 10 things each day that you are thankful for.  This will be easy for the first few days and then you will find yourself searching for new and different thing to be thankful for.  Part of the transformation is realizing how much we have to be thankful for that we regularly take for granted.

  • Find your theme song /personal anthem.  I believe in the power of music to change your mood instantly.  Find a song that you are associating with the new empowered unstoppable you.  My favorite positive and empowering songs are:  ‘True Colors’ by Cyndi Lauper, ‘The Greatest Love’ by Whitney Houston and ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman soundtrack (and that entire album J)… And turn the volume up and sing along!  Singing has been proven to improve mood. 

  • Diet is very important to personal wellbeing.  Try to eat a clean wholefood diet that supports a healthy body.  If depression is part of your old story, foods naturally high tryptophan and B vitamins will help increase serotonin production.  These include bananas, eggs, avocado, cilantro and turkey. 

  • Exercise, particularly in the outdoors is beneficial for improved health and wellbeing.  Although medium to high intensity cardiovascular exercise is good for getting the blood rate up, regularly walking and movement is just as important.  Get moving and your body and mind will thank you!

  • Connect with others!  Everyone is out here wanting to connect with others, be a person of increase who seeks out that connection you need and this will make the world a better place.
